After an interesting night back in Bocas Del Toro we headed over the border into the surf town of Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica. The town has a very chilled out Rastafarian vibe with Bob Marley being blasted from all of the local shops and bars.
We spent a lot of time chilling in hammocks and eating way to many chocolate brownies with ice cream. On a few of the days we hired push bikes and rode to the near by town of Manzanillo (13km away) and beautiful beaches such as Punta Uva. Matt managed to get a flat tire on both of these trips! 🙂

Thieve's in the bushes - we saw a guy in the bushes with a security hat on. Thieve's in the bushes in disguise maybe?
On Australia Day Eve Costa Rican time we talked two of the local bar owners into playing the Triple J Hottest 100 for us. Tasty Waves at Cochels Beach – head there for a cold beer, tasty tacos and a great time with the very cool owners Bryton and Steve!
After the bar shut we ended up at a local jam session with some very talented local muso’s – a great night and way to send Annie off after her month long Central American adventure.
Next stop for us – back to BOCAS!!
Leave us some messages – we miss you all! xx

Asking questions are in fact fastidious thing if you
are not understanding something entirely, except this paragraph provides good understanding
yet.
It is really the simple truth is a pleasant as well as practical item of info. I am just delighted that you just distributed this useful facts about. Make sure you continue to be united states updated this way. Many thanks revealing.
Enjoying looking at all the photo’s and checking out all the amazing stuff that you are seeing and doing. We head home from Bali tomorrow night, two weeks has gone so quick. Restaurant at Echo Beach, in Canggu had organic food on their menu! We had burgers and chips instead. The villa that is being built by the Aussie lady that we met is just amazing and apparently they are going to be putting in a road behind the houses which will make it about 400 metres to the beach! Miss you lots, will try and Skype when we home, internet is really slow here. xxxxx
To my fellow fatpackers. Life is not the same since I have gotten up off the hammock and stopped eating three packets of chips each day finished off with a chocolate brownie a la mode. Hope you guys are still livin the dream without me to tempt you into all kinds of indulgences. Much love, Annie. PS Tried to run a lap or two of Maroubra the other day. Had to have walking rest breaks. Thank god I only had a month. I may have needed a crane to get me off the hammock if I had too much longer….Be careful!
Matty just ordered the biggest brownie al la mode and couldn’t finish it – my words of wisdom “what would Anna do”! We miss you! Xx
Ha ha. I am like a god to all those brownie and icecream eating fatpackers out there. Spread the word!
